Alongside its Q4 earnings results on Wednesday afternoon, Affirm (AFRM) announced the shuttering of its crypto operations, effective March 2.

The shut down is part of a larger retrenchment for the payments company, which also announced job cuts of 19% of its workforce. It’s unclear what proportion of those layoffs are to do with the crypto operation.
